In this course, you will learn about the existing chemical management framework in Vietnam, as well as upcoming changes based on the new chemical law and various implementing draft decrees. The course will cover existing obligations and strategies for companies during the transition process and prepare for the upcoming changes to the framework
Topics that will be covered:
Chemical management requirements under the 2007 Law and the 2025 Law
Current implementing decrees, national technical regulations, and mandatory standards (e.g. chemical notification, reporting, “registration”, GHS, chemical inventory, etc.)
Draft implementing decree and circular for the 2025 law and the draft decree on fines and penalties for non-compliance
Chemical management and restrictions in products (cosmetic/personal care, textile, electronics)
Packaging/ EPR regulations and impacts on product brands
Transport of dangerous goods in Vietnam (UNTRDG, IMDG, IATA)
